Section: Footer
Everything you'll need to know on how to setup your Footer section.
The Footer section appears at the bottom of every page of your store. It includes your brand info (logo, description, contact details), up to 6 dynamic blocks (menus, text, app downloads, newsletter, trust badges, featured products), social media icons, payment icons, language and currency selectors, and a copyright bar. Mobile shows blocks as collapsible accordions for a clean experience.
Where to find this section
The Footer is a system section that lives in the Footer group and applies to every page of your store. You don't add it manually — it's already in place.
1) In the theme editor, scroll to the bottom of the left sidebar. Click on the Footer section inside the Footer group.
2) The right sidebar opens with all settings grouped by category. Configure the layout, brand info, social, copyright, payment, and localization.
3) Click Add block inside the Footer section to add menus, text columns, newsletter, trust badges, and more.
Color scheme
Select the color scheme for the footer. You can pick from any of the schemes set up in Theme Settings → Colors. Default: scheme-3 — a darker scheme often paired with the footer for contrast against the body.
Layout Settings
Desktop Columns
Number of columns to display on desktop. Choose between 2 Columns, 3 Columns, 4 Columns, 5 Columns, or 6 Columns. Default: 4. The first column is always the Brand block; the remaining columns are filled with your dynamic blocks.
Mobile Settings
Enable Accordion on Mobile
When enabled, footer blocks will collapse into accordions on mobile devices. Tap a block heading to expand it. Keeps the mobile footer compact and easy to navigate. Default: on.
Brand Section
Logo
Upload a footer-specific logo. If empty, the brand name (or store name) is used as a text headline instead. Recommended: a horizontal logo at 200 px wide, optimized for the footer's color scheme.
Brand Name
Used if no logo is uploaded. Falls back to your store name when blank. Use this to display a custom brand name styled differently from your store's official name.
Description
Short paragraph below the brand name or logo. Use it for your tagline, mission, or value prop. Default: Transform your online store with the best e-commerce theme on the market.
Phone Number
Your contact phone number. Renders as a clickable tel: link with a phone icon. Leave empty to hide.
Email Address
Your contact email. Renders as a clickable mailto: link with a mail icon. Leave empty to hide.
Secondary Email

Copyright & Credits
Copyright Text
Leave blank to use store name. The copyright line is automatically prefixed with the current year. For example: © 2026 Your Brand. All rights reserved.

Tick this box to display Powered by Shopify in the footer. Default: on. Untick if you prefer a cleaner branded look without the Shopify mention.
Theme Credit Name
Optional theme designer credit shown after Powered by Shopify. For example: Cartiafy or Designed by Acme Studio. Leave empty to hide.
Theme Credit URL
The URL the Theme Credit Name links to — typically the theme designer's website.

Adding blocks
The footer supports six block types: Menu, Text Block, App Download, Newsletter, Trust Badges, and Featured Products. Click Add block inside the Footer section to choose. Some block types have a limit: 1 per footer (App Download, Newsletter, Trust Badges, Featured Products).
Menu
Displays a column of links from a Shopify navigation menu. Set Heading (e.g. Quick Links) and pick a Menu from the link lists configured in Online Store → Navigation. The most common footer pattern — add 2–4 Menu blocks for sections like Shop, Help, About, Legal.

Frequently asked questions
How do I configure social media links?
Social media URLs are configured globally in Theme Settings → Social Media. Add the URLs of your Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube, and Pinterest profiles. Only platforms with a URL set will display an icon — the rest stay hidden.
Why isn't the language or currency selector showing?
The language selector only appears when your store has 2 or more languages enabled in Settings → Languages. The currency selector only appears when your store sells in multiple currencies via Shopify Markets. Configure both in your Shopify admin first.
How many menu blocks can I add?
You can add as many Menu and Text blocks as your column count supports. The Brand block always takes the first column, leaving the remaining columns for your blocks. App Download, Newsletter, Trust Badges, and Featured Products are limited to 1 per footer each.
Why do my footer blocks look stacked on mobile?
By design — the footer collapses to a single column on mobile, with each block as a tappable accordion (when Enable Accordion on Mobile is on). Visitors tap the block heading to expand its content. This keeps the mobile footer scannable.
Can I have a different layout per page?
The footer is a system section that applies to every page of your store. To have a different footer on a specific template (e.g. landing pages without footer), you would need to customize the layout file or use template-specific overrides — this is a developer task, not a merchant setting.
