Frequently asked questions
Where do the article images come from?
The featured image of each article is set when you create or edit the post in Online Store → Blog posts. Add an image in the Featured image field. The section automatically pulls and displays it. Articles without a featured image show a placeholder.
How do I set article excerpts?
When editing a blog post, expand the Excerpt field below the editor and write a short preview text. The section uses this excerpt when Show excerpt is on. If no excerpt is set, the section auto-generates one from the first 120 characters of the post content.
Why are some posts not appearing?
Only published articles from the selected blog appear. Drafts, scheduled posts, and unpublished articles are hidden until they go live. Verify the post status in Online Store → Blog posts. Posts are displayed newest-first up to the Number of posts limit.
Can I show posts from multiple blogs?
Each Featured Blog section displays posts from one blog only. To show posts from multiple blogs, add a separate Featured Blog section per blog and pick a different blog in each.
Why don't dates and authors match my actual posts?
The author shown is the first name of the Shopify staff account that published the post. To change it, edit the staff name in Settings → Users. Dates use the publication date — to change, set the Visibility date when editing the post.
