Cart Settings

Choose drawer vs page cart, enable notes and vendor, customize add-to-cart messages and set the Continue Shopping URL.

The Cart Settings category controls how customers interact with their cart: slide-in drawer or a full page, plus messaging shown while items are being added.

Theme editor → gear icon (⚙) at bottom-left → Cart Settings.

• Cart behavior — Drawer (slide-in from side) or Page (redirect to /cart).

• Enable cart notes — show a notes field in the drawer (default ON).
• Show product vendor — display the vendor under each line item.

• Success message (default: ADDED!) — shown when an item is added.
• Adding message (default: ADDING...) — shown while the request is in flight.
• Error message (default: ERROR) — shown when add-to-cart fails (e.g. out of stock).

• Continue shopping URL — destination of the Continue shopping link inside the empty cart (default /collections/all).

For impulse-buy catalogs (fashion, beauty, accessories) keep Drawer — customers add multiple items without leaving the page. For configurator-style products (electronics, custom orders) Page works better because it gives space for upsells and notes.
